Acupuncture
Acupuncture uses extremely fine gauge needles, which are inserted into selected points called “Acupuncture points”. This in turn will affect your body’s natural pathways of energy or “Qi”. Each of these acupuncture points serves as a tunnel, or access route, to deeper channels, meridians, qi or energy rivers.
When injuries, emotions, disease, stress or poor lifestyle choices are left untreated they then disrupt the natural circulation of “Qi” in the body. Acupuncture is the natural repair of the “Qi” in the body. This is the Traditional Chinese Medicine's explanation on how acupuncture works.
Some Western practitioners view the acupuncture points as places to stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue. This stimulation appears to boost the activity of your body's natural painkillers and increase blood flow.
Acupressure Therapy for Pain
Acupressure uses the fingers and hands to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body's natural self-curing abilities. When these points are pressed, they release muscular tension and promote the circulation of blood.
Acupuncture and Acupressure use the same points but acupuncture uses needles while acupressure uses gentle but firm pressure of fingers and hands.
Acupressure Therapy is very effective in the treatment of tension related ailments.

Tui-Na Medical Massage
Tui Na, ( pronounced 'twee nah') is a form of Asian body work. A combination of acupressure and other forms of body manipulation, Tui Na works by applying pressure to acupoints, meridians and groups of muscles or nerves to remove blockages, knots and tension.
This form of massage is more rhythmic than acupressure massage.
Reflexology
This natural healing and ancient therapy uses a method of foot massage, applying pressure to reflex zones on the soles of the feet. Reflexology is based on these zones mirroring the rest of the body and by working these areas of the feet, the corresponding body part, gland or organ of the body can be therapeutically treated.
Reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation and helps promote the natural function of the related areas of the body.
Fire Cupping
Specially designed glass cups are heated in such a way that when they are applied to the body a vacuum is created and the skin is gently pulled up into the cup.
In its simplest form, fire cupping is a type of deep tissue massage that promotes stress relief and relaxation. As a medicinal therapy, cupping has been used to treat a variety of diseases such as chronic bronchitis, asthma, colds, digestive diseases, musculoskeletal pain, some gynecological disorders, gastro-intestinal disorders, lung diseases, and paralysis, though it can be used for other disorders as well.
Japanese Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage is a nurturing and healing therapy. Heated stones are placed on specific points and meridians of the body. The heat from the stones warms and relaxes the muscles which allows your therapist to work deep within the muscles. The warmth of the hot stones improves circulation and calms the nervous system. This produces a deep state of relaxation and mental and physical healing.
